Vision

Our Vision for the GGCurrency Project:

  • We see the international monetary system evolving into a balanced, stable system of prosperity.
  • We see the use of new currencies bringing increased prosperity, abundance, community, cooperation, gender balance, health, wisdom and freedom for those who choose to use these local and international currencies.
  • We see the creation of a complementary international money system as a vital part of a balanced currency ecosystem.
    • We see an international currency which balances many of the negative features of the national currencies of the world.
    • We see our money autonomous of government control or oversight.
    • We see that no one can inflate our money to steal its value.
  • We see that money system integrated into an international wealth and information transfer system.
  • We see a self-regulating system, a Disseminated Autonomous Organization, to automatically regulate this currency so that it operates optimally with little or no human manipulation.
  • We see a system of local currencies all over the world which promote local prosperity and community.
    • We see this helping to increase the wealth in our communities.
    • We see this helping to keep our wealth in each community.
    • We see these local currencies bringing strength and breadth as they are easily integrated into our international currency system and the global currency ecology.
  • We see a Trade Reference Currency integrated into the global currency ecology to provide countercyclical trade support.
    • This helps our businesses balance the use of their money when it is tight, and avoid the up and down swings of the “business cycle” which is prominent today.
  • We see the creation of support organizations for local currencies and users of our international currency at local, regional, international, individual and business levels.
  • We see the creation of wealth training information and educational systems for local groups, and a tool kit containing:
    • Key documents for local initiatives.
    • playbooks of how to start local clubs and implement the local currency.
    • Users’ materials for individuals and merchants.
  • We see a system of private clubs to allow members to have a safe space in which to operate their local currencies.
  • We see people meeting together locally to create and promote local currencies which meet the specific needs of their communities.
  • We see online meetings of local currency members and international experts, tuning and developing a balanced currency ecosystem.
  • We see international interest and participation blossoming as a result of positive media exposure on alternative and other media.
